The very first dance for all ball guests after the performance of the debutantes and the dance of the invited dignitaries is always a Viennese waltz. Don’t worry, though, if you feel a bit unsure about the steps. Ball ticket holders are offered the opportunity to take some lessons prior to the ball so that you, too, will cut a neat figure on the dance floor. In addition to the waltzes, the orchestra will also play all kinds of other dances that will have you sway and swirl right until the small hours of the morning.
