Le Bal viennois est une des plus belles expériences que j’ai vécues avec des personnes formidables. C’était un conte de fées d’un jour. Le processus est fantastique, les pratiques de danses, les essayages de robe pour les filles et les smokings pour les garçons. C’est des souvenirs que chacun chérira a jamais, tout le monde mérite de vivre cette expérience sans hésitation.

For me, the Austrian Ball was a great adventure! From learning different dancing styles to laughing our way through trying to get all the steps right, the Austrian or rather Viennese Ball is a must do for any adolescent or young adult who seeks to have a Ball! The learning is first class, and preparing for such a majestic event with your new friends is a real treat to make your heart palpitate. It’s a truly unique experience in these times.

Becoming a debutante was a dream come true and an experience that I will cherish for a long time. Participating in such an elegant and traditional event brought me so much joy. Our dance instructor, Carole, was highly competent, gracious and most of all, patient. In addition, the debutantes and the escorts were all lovely and have become my friends. The dresses made us girls feel like true princesses. And the Ball itself transported us back to the Victorian era, except of course for the great contemporary covers sung at the end of the night. Thank you so much for this lovely experience!

The Viennese Ball of Montreal was a beautiful life experience. I got to enjoy the beauty and discipline behind ballroom dancing and it will forever stay one of my favourite dancing experiences. It also made me travel in time… I truly wish there were more such Balls in the 21st century!

After seeing my older sister perform as a debutante and the fun she had learning to waltz and meet new friends, I decided to give being an escort a shot when I turned 16. I had so much fun that year that I volunteered to be an escort 2 more times in the following years and even joined the Ball Committee to help behind the scenes. I am now 36 and have been involved with the Viennese Ball of Montreal for the last 20 years. I've met some incredible people and have had many fun times along the way. I look forward to ending the night at the “Heurigen” with beer and goulash in hand many more times!

I had the pleasure of being a debutante at the Viennese Ball of Montreal. Not only did I meet some amazing people but also they became very close friends of mine. It was an experience to remember and I would definitely recommend it to others!

The Viennese Ball of Montreal turned out to be one of the most memorable events I have ever experienced. I enjoyed it all very much from the beginning (from the Monday evening practices) until even after the event. It is something that I will always remember with so much fondness for the rest of my life.

Being a debutante at the Viennese Ball wasn't only about waltzing in front of an audience. We also got free dance lessons with the ever joyful Carol Brown, a professional dance instructor, and we were able to experience something precious of the past.
